Food intolerance

When eating makes sick

Bloated stomach, abdominal fullness, diarrhea or constipation – food intolerance can be the cause of these or similar problems.
Often when such health problems exist, food intolerances, e.g. milk and fructose, sugar substitute sorbitol and histamine intolerances or allergies are not considered. Nevertheless a connection often exists. Symptoms must not appear directly after eating the relevant food products. In many cases they appear hours or days after that. Also skin irritations, weaknesses of the immune system, concentration problems or migraines are frequent symptoms of food intolerances. With the help of special tests numerous intolerances can be detected.

Intestinal bacteria -  a central meaning for health

Special stool examinations are important for diagnostics. Billions of intestinal bacteria play a central role for our health. If the interaction of these bacteria get out of balance, the risk of numerous diseases raise. Irritable bowel syndrome, constipation as well as inflammable intestinal diseases and intestinal cancer. The specific examinations of the intestinal flora makes it possible to reestablish the balance of the bacterial flora and carry out an individual therapy.
The latest research shows that intestinal bacteria have an influence on developing weight problems. The intestinal flora of overweight people is different than of those with a normal weight. This knowledge makes it possible to apply new approaches to the treatment of overweight people.
